MoniWatt for Suntaic FAQ
Questions from Suntaic owners. Write to [email protected] for anything else.
Which Suntaic inverters are supported?
We start with the Suntaic Hero and Rack ranges, including the 5500 W 48 V model. Tell us your model when you order; we test it before shipping.
Does it use the battery port?
No. The RS485 port stays connected to your battery. MoniWatt for Suntaic uses the separate RS232 port.
Can I check my holiday home from abroad?
Yes, with the optional remote dashboard, as long as the house has an internet connection. You also get an e-mail if the box stops reporting.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, at home: screen, local dashboard, MQTT and JSON need only your Wi-Fi.
Does it change inverter settings?
No, it reads only.
Does Suntaic offer its own Wi-Fi dongle?
As far as we know, not for these models. That is exactly why owners asked us for this box.
When will it ship?
On 10 November 2026: each box is loaded with the Suntaic firmware and tested on a Suntaic inverter before it ships. If not, full refund unless you prefer to wait.
Do you deliver to Spain and Portugal?
Yes, and to the rest of Europe. The shipping price appears at checkout.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time before shipping, full refund including shipping. After delivery, 14 days to return it.
Is it a Suntaic product?
No. MoniWatt for Suntaic is an independent accessory designed in France. Suntaic is a trademark of its owner.
